Alison Trapp formed Lyon Consulting in 2016 to bring together her 20 years of financial services industry experience and her history of sharing knowledge with others. Alison spent most of her career with GE Capital. The first nine years were focused on the syndicated loan platform covering cash flow and asset-based commercial loans, project management as a Six Sigma Black Belt, and loan operations. As GE Capital transferred its industrial loan corporation from consumer to commercial assets in 2008, Alison became versed in regulatory requirements and policy implementation. When it later became regulated as a Systemically Important Financial Institution, her role expanded to credit governance and valuations. A large part of her role since 2008 was to develop and deliver training for ~400 credit risk professionals.
Prior to GE Capital, Alison worked for the data analytics division of Reuters and taught in Japan as part of the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme.
With her varied background and ability to deliver complex and sometimes difficult messages with poise, Alison is able to partner with you to meet the business needs of your credit risk function.
